The Inspire Business Angel Network will provide capital and mentoring to a range of start-up businesses. Our investment is an equity investment rather than a loan to be repaid with interest.
1. Initial assessment
Initially, you submit a short application form. This is designed to provide a brief summary of your business and allows Inspire to make a quick decision on whether or not they can help you.
You will require a business plan in order to pitch to the Investors. Therefore, you will be contacted and an appointment will be arranged for you to meet with an Inspire Business Adviser on a one to one basis. If you are pre-start or your business is within the first 6 months of trading, you may be eligible for a FREE Business plan through the Regional Start Initiative. If you are an existing business a consultancy fee to prepare a business plan may apply.
3. Investment meeting and pitch
Investment meetings are held 3 times per year and the cut off for applications to be considered for these meetings is usually 1 month before the meeting. The companies who will pitch at any given meeting are selected from those who have applied.
