Top tips from our #CastlereaghHour Meet and Tweet Business Breakfast

Posted on March 08, 2017

Another successful Inspire Business Networking Breakfast with over 40 businesses in attendance on a cold March Friday morning.

Tweeters from #CastlereaghHour listened to Louise Brogan from Social Bee NI aka #AntrimHour and improved their online network marketing skills almost instantaneously! Time well spent!

Some top tips from the morning:

  • Connect with the host e.g. @castlereaghHour
  • Use the #Castlereaghhour hashtag in ALL of your tweets!
  • If there is a sponsor or competition during the Twitter hour, look out for a second hashtag to include
  • Reply to other participants
  • Build your local network
  • Don’t just promote your own offers
  • Try not to set up scheduled tweets (unless you are the host!)

Networking hours are the perfect opportunity to increase your business, exposure and to raise awareness of your brand.

The first time you join #CastlereaghHour introduce yourself and say you’re new, users are often very welcoming and are likely to reply or retweet. Include within your post an eye-catching picture of perhaps a product or your logo to make it stand out even more.

Inspire were proud to support Tiny Life through this Business Breakfast.  Tiny Life are the LCCC Mayor and Mayoress' chosen charity and we would encourage all of you to get involved (where possible) to help them raise vital funds to support their amazing work for all the babies born too early in Northern Ireland every year.
