We invite you to the official re-launch of The Inside Out Bus at Inspire Business Centre on Thursday 27th April 13:00 - 15:00.

The Inside Out Bus is a wheelchair accessible former London Double Decker red bus, equipped with a high-tech music studio, games consoles and iMac computer suite. It is one of kind in Northern Ireland. 

In 2012 The Department of Justice provided £90,000 towards the project by using money recovered from criminal assets. 

The plan is to utilise it as much as is practically possible in order to give young people the opportunity to do and learn something new and divert them away from anti-social behaviour.

The project scope of TIOB is as follows: (this scope is not limited)

  1. Primary Schools -  aimed at facilitating the introduction to STEM

  2. Secondary Schools -  aimed at improving STEM subjects, such as Technology and Design

  3. Community outreach – aimed at improving the access of all to Digital Skills and reducing anti-social behaviour

  4. Community integration – aimed at developing cross-community integration projects, using Digital Design as a platform for cultural diversity orientated projects.

  5. STEM curriculum and employability projects

Inspire welcome schools along with community & voluntary groups to come and take a tour of the bus (with a view to provisionally booking) as its going to be in high demand over the coming months.
